BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA — Now in its 17th year, MAD Stars, the international conference celebrating excellence in creativity, marketing, and advertising, returns with an enhanced iteration of its much-awaited festival, held this August 21 to 23 at BEXCO in Busan, Korea.

Taking on the theme of “AIM: Aim Marketing Success with AI,” MAD Stars is set to highlight the best works that blend marketing, advertising, and digital content – fully committing to its promise of being the ultimate “MAD TECH” festival. The works that best represent this will be showcased at the show, with winners to be announced on the festival’s culminating night.

The first day of the conference is set to kick off with a panel discussion consisting of this year’s Executive Jury members: Emma de la Fosse, CCO of Edelman UK; Joji Jacob, Regional CCO of Havas SEA & NA and Co-founder of BLKJ Havas Singapore; Matt McDonald, CCO of BBDO New York; and Suzana Apelbaum, Head of Creative and Innovation at Google.

Wayne Deakin, Global Principal & Creative at Wolff Olins, and Hemant Shringy, CCO of FCB Ulka, will each deliver talks in the afternoon, and Aeri Park, CEO of HSAD, will culminate the festival’s first day with a keynote session on the era of AI-driven marketing creativity.

Alternatively, meet-up sessions will be hosted alongside the conference talks with Jihyun An, Director of Site Branding, a city branding agency based in Korea; Hyungtaek Kim, CEO of Digital Initiative Group; and Taeho Kang, Deputy Managing Director of Daehong Communications.
