MUMBAI, INDIA — WARC, the global authority on advertising and media effectiveness, appointed Navin Talreja, co-founder of The Womb, as one of the jury members for WARC Prize for Asian Strategy 2020, a search for the best strategic ideas that have driven results from Asia’s marketing industry.
The Womb is the five-year-old independent agency famous for its product innovation “Carvaan” for Saregama, which went on to win the Grand Prix at the WARC Prize for Asian Strategy 2018.
Senior figures from HSBC, Lazada, McCann, Ogilvy, TBWA\HAKUHODO and VCCP are among those completing the jury line-up for the WARC Prize for Asian Strategy.
Launched in 2011, the WARC Prize for Asian Strategy is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. It is free to enter and is open to clients and agencies in any marketing discipline. The jury will be chaired by Siew Ting Foo, Vice President and Global Head of Marketing Strategy and Planning, Print Category, HP.

As we set to mark ten years of these awards at a time when marketing strategies are having to adapt to new challenges, we look forward to working with Talreja, as he draws on his incredible expertise, to help select Asia’s smartest marketing thinking,” said Lucy Aitken, managing editor for case studies at WARC.
As well as Grand Prix, Gold, Silver and Bronze accolades, there is a Prize fund of US $10,000 presented to the winners of the Grand Prix ($5,000) and five Special Awards ($1,000 each) recognizing specific areas of excellence, including the new Long-Term Strategy Special Award for the best strategy designed to build a long-term brand platform, executed over a period of three years or more.
