Philippines to host inaugural podcast festival ‘Hear For It’ with star-studded lineup on October 20

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Step into the captivating world of podcasts as the Philippines prepares to host its inaugural podcast festival, Hear For It. This event has been meticulously designed to bring together the thriving local podcast community, creating a unique gathering of skilled creators, experienced producers, and enthusiastic fans.

Scheduled to occur at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center on October 20, from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm, Hear For It promises a day brimming with thrilling activities, opportunities to meet podcast personalities, and valuable insights for both seasoned podcast aficionados and newcomers. Admission is free for all attendees.

Hear For It boasts an impressive lineup of the country’s most beloved podcast personalities, such as Bianca Gonzales of Paano Ba ‘To, known for sharing advice on life, career, love, and self; directors Antoinette Jadaone and JP Habac of Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast, engaging in hilarious and insightful conversations about love and pop culture; real-life couple Jim Baccaro and Saab Magalona of Wake Up with Jim & Saab, discussing everything from reality shows to voter registration; host and comedian Victor Anastacio of Intellectwalwal, providing cerebral yet humorous takes on everyday life; creative Ali Sangalang of The Linya-Linya Show, focusing on Filipino life, arts, and culture through pun-filled variety segments; GB Labrador, James Caraan, Nonong Ballinan, and the crew at The Kool Pals offering listeners a wacky time; DJ Joelle of Paano Kung…, exploring the infinite possibilities and answers to life’s many “Paano Kungs;” Roanne and Tina of Queertuhan creating a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community; Podquest, an initiative by The Pod Network aimed at discovering and fostering new podcasting talent; Kristel Fulgar and Moy Esguerra of Anyare Saeyo? discussing their love for K-culture and life in general, and many more to be announced soon!
