SINGAPORE — The One Club for Creativity‘s annual Portfolio Night will be jointly hosted by independent creative agencies The Secret Little Agency and GOVT. The event will take place in Singapore on October 24, 2024 and playfully challenges students and young creatives to “TAKE OUR JOBS.”
“Consider it a healthy challenge. Given the world we’re living in, thriving as a modern creative today requires a cheekiness and radical optimism that we’re hoping to see in the next generation of talent in Singapore,” said Nicholas Ye and Mavis Neo, Co-chief Creative Officers at The Secret Little Agency.
The event will be aptly held at Alma House, located within the former Nan Chiau High School campus which was recently transformed into New Bahru, a creative and design cluster in Singapore. This year’s edition of portfolio night will feature 10 creative leaders from Singapore, including:
- Cathy Chen, Creative Group Head, Vayner Media
- Andy Lim, Creative Group Head, GOVT
- Foong Minmei, Partner, Ministry
- Sai Tzy Horng, Director, Julie’s Biscuits
- Firrdaus Yusoff, Head of Creative, Forsman & Bodenfors
- Pat Law, Founder, Goodstuph
- Janson Choo, Executive Creative Director, BBHrn
- Koh Hwee Peng, Creative Partner, Blak Labs
- Andrew Ho, Creative Director, MullenLowe
- Jonathan Yip, Creative Director, The Secret Little Agency
“Skibidis aside, we’ve always loved young talents, and giving them a chance. Because we were afforded the same opportunities when we were young by our mentors too. We hope Portfolio Night gives the raw gems of our industry a chance to show off their books, and they can start their journey to take our jobs,” said Aaron Koh and Tim Chan, Co-founders at GOVT.
