SINGAPORE – The last round of finalists have been revealed by Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity, hours before winners are announced tonight including the shortlist for Creative Effectiveness, Healthcare, Integrated, Music and Glass: the Award for Change. These categories celebrate creativity in different forms and honor those that effectively and purposely elicit results and change.
Creative Effectiveness
As the name suggests, Creative Effectiveness honors the creative campaigns that have shown a measurable impact in business. 10 entrants make it to shortlist with “SINDOOR KHELA – #NOCONDITIONSAPPLY” for The Times Of India by FCB India Delhi, and DDB Mudra’s “Project Free Period” for Johnson & Johnson Stayfree standing out with 2 finalist spots each. This gives India 4 finalists under the Creative Effectiveness category.

Healthcare
27 finalists enter the shortlist for creative works found in consumer healthcare as well as the more highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. TBWA\INDIA Mumbai’s “One Mindful Mind” for Neurogen and CHEIL PENGTAI Beijing’s “Back2Life” project for SAMSUNG each makes it to the shortlist with 2 spots.
Moreover, TBWA\HAKUHODO INC. Tokyo also makes the cut with 2 finalist spots for its work with DAIKI ANGEL HELP INC. and JAPAN PARA TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION. Similarly with 2 finalists is Leo Burnett India for HDFC BANK and FORTIS HEALTHCARE.
Japan dominates the category with 7 finalists.

Integrated
Only 7 finalists have been revealed for the Integrated Spikes, celebrating campaigns that demonstrate “holistic experience”. The Hakuhodo group dominates this category with the only entrant that has been included twice in the list. Its shortlisted campaigns include “More than Likes” for Softbank Corp. and “Red Restaurants List” for Takasaki City by Hakahudo Kettle Inc. Tokyo. This also gives Japan 2 finalists, equal to Australia which also has 2 spots.

Celebrating culture-shifting creating, the Glass Spikes demonstrate ideas that shake the world, setting out to positively impact the world and put serious societal issues under the spotlight like gender inequality, imbalance or injustice. Only 6 entrants have entered the shortlist, with agencies from India securing 2 spots on the list. This includes BBDO India with “Sons #ShareTheLoad” for P&G India, and GREY INDIA’s “THE BARBERSHOP GIRLS – SHAVING STEREOTYPES” for GILLETTE/P&G, with 1 spot each.
