MANILA, PHILIPPINES — A show-stopping performance by global K-Pop phenomenon NewJeans headlined the Coke Studio Ultimate Fandom Concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last September 05.

The arena resonated with roaring cheers as the girls delivered their worldwide chart-topping hits “ETA,” “Bubble Gum,” “Supernatural,” “How Sweet,” and “Zero,” with light stick-waving fans jamming along.

Bringing Filipino pride as the promising new faces of OPM was the electrifying lineup of Coke Studio Season 8 artists. P-Pop trailblazers ALAMAT showcased the fusion of Filipino heritage and contemporary sounds with their signatures “Dayang,” “Day & Night,” “Maharani,” and “Noli.” Multi-talented Gen Z star Kyle Echarri serenaded the audience with “Pangako,” “Dyosa,” “Panaginip,” and “Cupid’s Aim.” Hip-hop hitmaker and Grammy Award nominee Nik Makino hyped the crowd to dream with “Sipag Lang,” “Kay Ganda,” “Moon,” “Sobrang Solid,” and “We Made It.” Rising rebel rapper Illest Morena showcased alt excellence with “Slow Burn,” “Pick Up,” “Faded,” and “Sabik.”

The Coke Studio Season 8 artists further surprised the fans with performances of their exclusive Season 8 collaboration tracks “Ngayong Gabi” (ALAMAT and Nik Makino) and “Believe” (Kyle Echarri and Illest Morena), bridging genres and generations.

Further taking the OPM representation to the next level was “Hugot King” Zack Tabudlo, the first-ever Filipino Coke Studio global artist, making the arena believe in love again with his record-breaking songs “Nangangamba,” “Pano,” “Give Me Your Forever,” “Love is Dead,” and “Fallin,” his Coke Studio collision song with South African rapper Nasty C.

With K-pop and P-pop leaders sharing the same stage and uniting their fans under one sky, the concert was a testament to Coke Studio’s celebration of the power of fan connection, with music as a universal language connecting audiences and artists. More importantly, it brought to life Coke Studio’s philosophy of bringing “Real Magic,” creating a space where fans could connect, celebrate, and be part of something truly special.

Beyond the music, the Coke Studio Ultimate Fandom Concert empowered fan-to-fan, fan-to-fandom, and fan-to-artist connection through experiential activities, exciting giveaways, interactive games, fan tributes, and many other fan-centered initiatives that united P-Pop and K-Pop fandoms.

“The Coke Studio Ultimate Fandom Concert isn’t just about great music — it’s about the power of connection,” said Mark Jason Dee, Senior Director for Marketing at Coca-Cola ASEAN and South Pacific and South Pacific – East Cluster. “Coke Studio has always endeavored to bring artists and fans closer together, and tonight, we saw magic happen when fandoms united.”

As the Filipino music industry evolves, Coke Studio will remain at the forefront of the music scene. It stands committed to providing a platform that champions the voices of both emerging and established artists, nurtures Pinoy talent, and creates magical moments that bring people together.
