Over 10,000 entries were submitted and select designs emerged as winners to be transformed into UT T-shirts, with one design coming from Filipina finalist Regine Binuya.

For Art Enthusiasts

Art enthusiasts have a rich selection of T-shirts to choose from, with pieces by some of the world’s most renowned artists.

UT will release a new lineup with masterpieces from the Musée du Louvre in France. The partnership is a four-year collaboration that aims to better familiarize the public with the museum’s treasured collection and bring the joy of art in daily life.

UNIQLO also highlights its Japanese roots with a collection that brings the vibrant tones and bold lines of Ukiyo-e prints. Ukiyo-e is a genre of Japanese woodblock prints and paintings that were popular from the 17th to 19th centuries. The UT collection is filled with art from Hokusai, Hiroshige, and Kuniyoshi, three of Japan’s greatest Ukiyo-e masters.

UNIQLO features a graphic motif that is based on the symbolic purple Hachimaki, red and white coloring, and crest from the costume of “Sukeroku”, one of the Kabuki Juhachiban. The shirt highlights the importance of the Kabuki costumes to the beauty of the Kabuki stage.
