MANILA, PHILIPPINES — LIONS has recently released its Creativity Report for 2022. The annual LIONS Creativity Report presents the definitive rankings for creative excellence in branded communications and provides insights into the industry and exemplary work and creatives, as well as interviews with the professionals behind Lion-winning work.
This year finds Dentsu Creative Bengaluru at the top of the rankings with the coveted Agency of the Year title. The feat is largely thanks to the agency’s groundbreaking “The Unfiltered History Tour” campaign for VICE Media, which earned 12 Lions, including three Grand Prix, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this year.
The tour was “brave and disruptive, seamlessly blending technology with culturally insightful storytelling,” said Jury President of the Radio & Audio Lions Mariana O’Kelly, the global executive creative director of Ogilvy.
Several individuals from the agency were recognized in the Creativity Report as well with all six of the creatives tied in first place for Creative Director of the Year all hailing from Dentsu Creative. More creatives from the agency also topped the rankings for Art Director of the Year and Copywriter of the Year.
