LONDON – A total of 184 entries moved on to the last round of judging at the London International Awards Design category, with 56 coming from Southeast Asia.
Japan leads the region with 24 shortlisted entries headlined by Dentsu with ten. Standout campaigns from the agency include for Keio University Faculty of Economics’ “Pearl” campaign and D&AD Awards 2014 Exhibition in Japan “Creation” campaign.
Close to Dentsu’s tail is Ogilvy & Mather with 9 shortlists, with Fujisan Club’s “Mt. Fuji Rubbish Billboards” accounting for five of the total.
Malaysia ranks second in the regional poll with nine, followed by Thailand with seven. The Philippines secured four and India with three. China, Pakistan, Taiwan and Vietnam has two each and Korea with one.
Product Design
Also announced are the 35 shortlisted entries for the product design category, with Southeast Asia accounting for seven.
Japan leads again with 4 shortlisted entries, represented by cosmos, Dentsu, good design company and Katai Seven. Hong Kong with 2 and Thailand with 1.
