FRANCE – Every year, ACT Responsible, an international non-profit association created in 2001 collects advertising campaigns from around the globe that addresses social and environmental issues.
Their “Good Ad” library holds over 12,000 campaigns with worthy causes created by 2,300 agencies from 3,000 advertisers in 95 countries.
The association aims to highlight the power of advertising to raise awareness about the issues that the world is facing–poverty, disease prevention, protection of human rights, global warming, preservation of biodiversity–and how we could all help to address these.
To do this, ACT Responsible participates in various events in the industry. As the biggest gathering of industry creatives and enthusiasts around the world, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the perfect venue to display this one-of-a-kind exhibition for a cause.
Now on its 14th year, ACT Responsible will again give the festival visitors a 360-degree view with a hundred exceptional campaigns from 86 agencies from 33 countries.
By the end of the festival, the finest advertising campaigns that defend good causes will be awarded by the public and the internet users. Log in to http://act-responsible.org to vote!
