“A product demonstration is as old as advertising itself, but they found a way to do it completely new. It was also very brave. It was executed absolutely flawlessly, and I think that attracts not only the advertising community but hundereds of millions of people around the world who have viewed it online,”Jury head Lauren Connolly said.

Another automobile ad, Honda Motors’ ‘Sound of Honda/Ayrton Senna 1989’ by Dentsu Japan, also received the Grand Prix of the Year in Products and Services.

Juror Janez Racuscek, executive creative director of Luna\ TBWA said that the ad was one of the most inspiring campaigns he’s seen.

Bold idea, masterfully executed, and the technology used was really supporting the brand idea. Honda, one of the most daring brands of today, is bringing Ayrton Senna to life again, and like I say this is the power of dreams at its best,” he said.
