In an on-location interview with adobo magazine at the ongoing 2017 AdFest in Pattaya, Thailand, where he serves as jury for the Design and Print Craft Lotus, he shares this insight: “Craft is still crucial in the category, some good ideas failed due to lack of good finishing and design. The jury panel formed by an industrial designer, graphic designers and advertising art guys. Hence, we have rich diversity of opinion when comes to craft.”

He reveals what piece of work stood out for him, confiding, “The Unusual Football Field, I love it so much. Simply because it is beyond design. It is an out-of-the-box design idea with purpose.” The Unusual Football Field was developed by AP (Thailand) in Khlong Toei community, Bangkok, Where this isn’t enough space for a standard football field. It does have numerous asymmetrical spaces scattered across the district which AP developed into mini football fields with unusual shapes.

Asked what about the AdFest he likes so much, he had this to say: “AdFest is always one of my favorite shows around the region, I love the fantastic judging system and the award ceremony.”
