PATTAYA – J. Walter Thompson Bangkok continue to prove that the success of Samsung’s ‘Touchable Ink’ in the 2016 Cannes Lions was not a fluke. After sweeping three Grand Prix awards in Spikes Asia 2016, the campaign created for the Thai Samsung Association of the Blind has again taken home another Best of Show in the Direct Lotus category at Asia-Pacific ADFEST 2017.
Through this campaign, ordinary Samsung printers were turned into braille printers loaded with a specially-formulated ink that turns printed paper to braille just by heating using common household items like hair dryers or microwaves.
Eight Gold Lotus were also given away to BBDO Bangkok, Clemenger BBDO, Cheil Worldwide, Colenso BBDO, Havas Worldwide Australia, Leo Burnett Sydney, and McCann Melbourne.
