As part of a continuation of The Ritz-Carlton’s campaign, “Let us stay with you”,
Saatchi & Saatchi in partnership with Team One, who manages The Ritz-Carlton business globally, created a charming animation. Each animation in the campaign is shaped from real guest’s memories, which pair six words that the agency crafted to match with a colourfully animated story. Saatchi & Saatchi and Team One’s vignette tells the first memory from a guest who stayed at the Sanya, Yalong Bay resort in China.
The animation’s warm tones thoughtfully share the memory of a retired, recently widowed Russian cosmonaut, who despite the white sand beaches and lush vegetation surrounding him in Sanya, found it hard to enjoy his time. The hotel manager noticed the guest’s mood and after learning of his story, the Ladies and Gentlemen embarked on a group effort to raise his spirits.
The six words that embody this man’s memory while staying at The Ritz-Carlton were “remarkable life”, “heartfelt tribute”, and “spirits soar”. These words, shared by a real customer, are surely descriptions any brand would be proud to embody.
Previous animations in the series depict the memories of guest’s who stayed in New York City, Tokyo, and Grand Cayman among other notable locations.
