Anomaly launches ‘The Unreasonable’ content franchise in China

SHANGHAI – Anomaly has launched ‘The Unreasonable,’ an ongoing content franchise showcasing people from across industries who are changing the world in their own unique way.

The series gets its name from the George Bernard Shaw quote found in every Anomaly office: “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man”. 

Anomaly Shanghai partner Richard Summers said, “10 years ago, Anomaly was founded with an unreasonable mission to become the recognized change-agent in the communications industry. The Unreasonable is the next chapter in that story – it’s about how we continue to honor, support and inspire entrepreneurs who are blazing new trails.”

The Unreasonable will live at www.theunreasonable.com, and be driven by in-depth interviews with leaders from all facets of business that seek progress and change. The first episode features Zhang Zhoujie, a Chinese designer who is challenging the traditional notions and methods of design through digital means.

To mark the launch, Anomaly has co-operated with Touchmedia, China’s leading in-taxi media company, to screen trailers of the first episode in 12,000 taxis across Shanghai.
