The 2017 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards have announced the list of finalists in its prestigious awards recognizing superior achievement in branding, reputation and engagement; and PAGEONE Media emerged as the only Philippine agency in the list.
According to the organizer Holmes Report, the SABRE awards celebrate the best work produced by public relations firms and public relations departments, to demonstrate that PR can come up with big brand-building ideas, creative content, and strategic reputation management programs that impact the bottom line.
‘We are extremely ecstatic about this recognition as this once again validates creativity and impact-driven campaigns that PAGEONE Media develops and implements for clients. Being recognized alongside outstanding campaign in the Asia Pacific is truly very humbling” Vonj Tingson, PAGEONE Media president says.
PAGEONE Media is finalist in two categories: the social media campaign and public education campaign.
In the social media campaign category, the agency’s entry – Avatars: Digital Family Surrogates of the Youth – is being recognized for its innovation in harnessing the power of digital channels and tools to help Filipino teenagers cope with depression. The campaign provided online counselors speaking through digital avatars to talk to teenagers having personal and family problems.
In the public education campaign category, PAGEONE Media’s entry – The Race to 3 Million: Sustaining and Scaling Up U4U Campaign Nationwide—is being cited for its integrated campaign to educate millions of teenagers about the risks of early pregnancy. The U4U campaign is being implemented by CHSI Philippines with support from UNFPA, the Population Commission, the Department of Health and PAGEONE Media.
The SABRE recognition is the latest accolade received by the three-year old content marketing agency after it had been awarded one gold and two bronzes from the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards early this year.
PAGEONE Media is also receiving the Asia Pacific Silver Quill Award later this month in Singapore.
