FRANCE – The jury has announced the winners for Design, Cyber, Radio and Product Design Lions. Asia Pacific scooped only 6 Gold Lions, down from yesterday’s 11 Golds.
Design
In tonight’s round of winners, Asia Pacific fared best in the design category with Japan taking 3 Golds out of the 16 winners from the region.
Dentsu Inc. Tokyo scored 2 Gold Lions, one for its campaign ‘Get Back, Tohoku.’ for East Japan Railway Company and another one for Tokio Marine Nichido ’Junior Swimming Championships’.
Taku Satoh Design Tokyo also scooped a Gold for ‘Pleats Please Flowers Series Posters’ for Issey Miyake.

Cyber
Out of the 13 Lions in Cyber, Cheil Worldwide Seoul bagged a Gold Lion for its campaign, ‘Look at Me’ for Samsung. It’s an app that helps children with autism make eye contact.
M&C Saatchi bags another Gold, now its third, for Optus ‘Clever Buoy’, the world’s first shark detection buoy.

Radio
Asia Pacific did not score a Gold Lion for Radio. However, Colenso BBDO, Lowe Singapore and GPY&R Melbourne scored Silver Lions.

Product Design
The fairly new category which is only in its second year gave 8 Lions. Grey Group Singapore scoops one Product Design Lion for its campaign ‘Life Saving Dot’ for Talwar Bindi.
This campaign aim to save women from rural India from diseases like breast cancer and complications during pregnancy due to iodine deficiency by coming up with iodine patches known as the Life Saving Dot.
