Awards: Leading creatives from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia join CLIO’s biggest pool of jurors

MANILA, PHILIPPINES– The 2020 to 2021 cycle of the CLIO Awards holds the largest jury pool in its history, nine of whom are from Southeast Asia.

Singapore

Four Singapore-based creatives are a part of the roster. VMLY&R’s Chief Creative Officer for Asia, Valerie Madon takes a spot at the Direct & Innovation Jury while BBH’s Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, Joakim Borgström also sits at the Film Jury.

Preethi Mariappan, VP Head of Design & Architecture AP, at Visa has been named as a juror under Brand Jury while Corey Cruz, Wunderman Thompson Singapore’s Creative Director is a part of the Digital/Mobile & Social Media Jury.

Japan

Yoshihiro Yagi, Dentsu Inc’s Creative Director makes it to the Design Jury.

Cut + Run’s Editor Aika Miyake also snags a spot at the Film Craft: Editing Jury.

Hong Kong 

Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong’s Group Creative Director Lili Jiang has been named one of the jurors under Branded Entertainment & Content Jury.

Malaysia

For the Film Craft: Copywriting Jury, Elissa Azizi, the Group Creative Head of TBWA Malaysia makes it as a juror.

India

Shagun Seda, Creative Head– West for DDB Mudra Group Mumbai is also a part of the Direct & Innovation Jury.

The deliberation for this cycle of the CLIOS will take place on February to March 2021 with the awarding in April.
