LONDON – The Gunn Report has released its 2015 report on the overall performance of the advertising industry based on 45 global, regional, and national creative award contests from January to December 2015.
BBDO was named as the most awarded network while BBDO New York was named most awarded agency. BBDO New York’s “#TBT Bites” campaign for Twix Bites came in as the third most awarded film commercial in the world,. Meanwhile, BBDO Proximity Kuala Lumpur’s “Burger”/“Drumstick”/“French Fries” campaigns for KFC were the second most awarded in the print/out of home ads and campaigns category.
Leo Burnett Toronto’s “#LikeAGirl” campaign for Always won two distinctions: the number one most awarded All Guns Blazing in the World 2015, and the most awarded campaign across All Gunn Report Media 2015. This effectively made Leo Burnett the second most awarded network in the world.
Despite the controversies that Volkswagen was entangled in last year, the brand was hailed as the Most Awarded Advertiser in the World 2015.
