SINGAPORE – BBDO Malaysia has announced the launch of their ‘Heels of Steel’ initiative – a series of talks by prominent leaders aimed at inspiring and accelerating the progress of women in the workplace.
The series will feature one speaker per quarter, and the first session kicked off with a talk by Jasmine Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of U Mobile, recently named “Asia’s Most Influential CMO” at the 24th World Brand Congress.
Open to all, men and women, and free of charge, attendees will hear from some of Malaysia’s most successful and influential leaders, demonstrating that anything is possible.
“I’ve always felt strongly about supporting women in the workforce and demonstrating that success is always achievable, regardless of gender. The best way to convey this is to have strong, influential and successful women share their stories that will inspire and motivate other women,” said Farrah Harith McPherson, General Manager at BBDO Malaysia.
“I am really honoured to have been the first speaker in the “Heels of Steels” series. I am always happy to share my experiences and believe that it is through story-telling that we can learn the most from some of the best. Kudos to BBDO for starting this initiative, and creating a platform where we can learn from exceptional stories of many more successful women,” said Jasmine Lee, U Mobile.
In line with BBDO’s global commitment to diversity, this initiative encourages members of our offices, industry and community to get behind issues that concern us all.
The first session took place at the BBDO Malaysia on Thursday, 13 July, from 12:30pm–2pm. For those who wish to attend the second session in the series, please RSVP to andrea.ma@bbdo.com.my.
