ASIA-PACIFIC – KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, MARCH 2011 – BBDO/Proximity Malaysia has been appointed Tesco’s Agency of Record as of January, and has begun to work on the brand.
The race for Tesco’s communication assignment began in September 2010. Tesco, already a leader in its home market in the UK, and hugely successful for the past decade in Malaysia has aspirations to strengthen its brand in Malaysia. For four months, the dynamic team at BBDO/Proximity went up against nine other competing agencies to convince Tesco that they are the right agency partner.
