SINGAPORE – To launch the brand new IKEA METOD Kitchen range, BBH Asia Pacific went beyond just releasing a product catalogue.
The agency produced an entertaining ‘cooking show’ that cleverly demonstrates on how to whip up a personalized kitchen using miniature IKEA METOD products such as kitchen counters, light bulbs, etc. as ingredients.
“IKEA’s METOD system is about having fun creating your brand new kitchen. So we cooked one up just to show you how,” said Gaston Soto, Senior Art Director, BBH Asia Pacific.
METOD is a modular kitchen system that allows for easy installation, efficient measurement and accessible combinations of doors, interior fittings, hinges, colours, drawers and frames, plus lots more.
Explaining the new campaign, Tze Kuen Yeong, Head of Marketing, IKEA (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand) said, “The METOD range allows people to create thousands of different kitchen combinations and utilize every centimetre of their kitchen space. ‘Recipes for Delicious Kitchens’ aims to inspire you to dream up, select, and install your very own version of the IKEA METOD Kitchen.”
