KUALA LUMPUR – A new IKEA store is opening in Cheras, and every Malaysian is invited to (get their ass to Cheras) and join the biggest house warming party hosted by IKEA’s very own products.
Well, that’s if we’re basing it on the video invitation created by BBH Asia Pacific starring IKEA’s grinding lamps, head-spinning drinking glasses, moonwalking slippers, breakdancing panda stuffed toy and other pieces of furniture that are clearly turned party mode on.
The Cheras branch is going to be the second IKEA store to open in Malaysia almost 20 years after the Swedish brand first came to Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya.
BBH Asia also recently released ‘Recipes for Delicious Kitchens’ cooking show using miniature IKEA furniture as ingredients to launch the brand new IKEA METOD Kitchen range and the award-winning ’Bookbook’ to showcase IKEA’s 2015 catalogue.
