BBH offices made £23,000 in a 24 hour jog/cycle/row-a-thon for the people of Japan who lost so much in the recent earthquake and tsunami. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to ShelterBox, the international disaster relief agency that’s delivering emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies to those affected. £23,000 exceeded their target figure of£20,000.
Last year BBH London held a similar fundraiser for Haiti and raised an impressive £17,000. For Japan, BBH offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Mumbai, London, New York and Sao Paulo set up exercise equipment where they rowed, ran, and cycled in shifts for 24 hours. Participants included BBH Global CEO Simon Sherwood, BBH Asia Pacific CEO John Hadfield, and BBH China CEO Arto Hampartsoumian to name a few.
