Brand & Business: Ampverse announces new hires to coincide with regional expansion to Vietnam and Myanmar

SINGAPORE – Asia’s leading esports entertainment company, Ampverse, has today announced several new hires in order to bolster the company’s firepower, coinciding with growing client demand and Ampverse’s regional expansion to Vietnam and Myanmar. 

Ten new members joined Ampverse across multiple business units as its growth continues to accelerate across Southeast Asia, bringing the Ampverse team to 44 across the region. The latest hires added to the company’s scaling operations include director of revenue and customer success Jackie Tangngumvitayakul formerly of Starcom, head of client solutions Kate Siriwattanakul formerly of GroupM, and strategic initiatives manager Athiti Sujarit formerly of Garena.

Other additions to the Ampvese team include new team members across its  sales, finance, human resources, creative solutions and esports divisions.

These latest hires follow the appointment of Tim Roemer last year who has since been promoted to Chief Operating Officer effective January 2021. Roemer joined from leading performance marketing agency Heroleads, a company he founded and scaled to 200 across the region.

For 2021, Ampverse will continue to invest in Southeast Asian markets, due to the rising popularity of the esports entertainment industry.
