Commenting on the new partnership, AdColony, Senior Vice President APAC, Tom Simpson said “The gaming and esports space is incredibly dynamic and diverse across Asia Pacific, so we’re looking for a partner that brings the same playful challenger thinking and strategic mindset as us to positioning AdColony at the intersection of brands and consumers. We’re confident we’ve found exactly that with the team at Bud.”

Bud Communication’s Founder and Managing Director, Oliver Budgen

Bud Communication’s Founder and Managing Director, Oliver Budgen described the new normal accelerating demand for communications. As challenger brands take advantage of accelerated disruption, more international tech players are shifting their attention towards Southeast Asia as the centre of gravity for innovation and technology adoption. At the same time, competition has never been more fierce, and we’ve seen how those brands that articulate a vision, mission and value proposition stand to gain a massive competitive advantage over those who don’t.

“Focus is key for us at Bud, and partnering with brands who share our vision and values – together with a healthy appetite for challenger thinking – is what we’d attribute to our growth so far.”

In April, Bud Communications was recognised by PRCA APAC as Small Consultancy of the Year and finalists for Best Technology Campaign and Best B2B Campaign. Most recently they were shortlisted for Agency of the Year awards by both Marketing Magazine’s #AOTYAwards and PRWeek Asia.
