CANNES – 258 entries made it to the final round in Film Craft Lions. Japan leads Asia with a total of 8 entries, followed by India with 6.
For Japan, both SIX INC. Tokyo and DENTSU ISOBAR Tokyo grabbed 3 shortlists.
SIX INC. Tokyo’s work for Double A titled ‘Obsession for Smoothies’ got shortlisted in the categories: Direction, Visual Effects, and Innovation in Production. Meanwhile, DENTSU ISOBAR Tokyo’s work for Nike Japan titled ‘Force’ got shortlisted in the categories: Editing, Use of Original Music, and Sound Design.
TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno’s work for Bahay Tuluyan titled ‘Disgusting Stories’ picked a shortlist for the Philippines, making it the only Philippine entry that has made the cut.
The Film Craft Lions celebrate onscreen artistry. Exceptional filmmaking in which technical skill and prowess in production elevates an idea or dramatically enhances its execution.
Diane McArter, founder and president of Furlined is the 2018 Film Craft Lions jury president.
