NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE – Communications specialist, Serafí Industria Gràfica, has made its first venture into the consumer market with the launch of http://witemotions.com/, its new online store selling personalised gifts.

The family business was founded in 1964 by Serafí Gàzquez Mañas, the company’s current president, and has established itself, very successfully, in the B2B space boasting a number of large well-known brand customers and banking corporations.

The current CEO, Jaume Gàzquez, is the son of the founder and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business with the help of his sister, Maite Gàzquez Moya and their team of 25 employees.

Serafi specialises in high value, personalised packaging produced on a wide range of digital and lithographic equipment and has pioneered its own Cool Print® system that preserves aromas and applies textures to printed products.

The company’s new website, launched in early 2018, offers a range of unique personalised products such as notepads, board games, wine labels, wall art and calendars. The plan for the near future is to add more products and expand marketing activities.

CEO Jaume Gàzquez says “We’re really excited about the opportunities that Taopix enables us to explore in the consumer market. It’s obviously a new challenge for us but we’ve already made important connections with our customers’ employees, making sure they’re aware of what we’re doing and the different gifts they can personalise from their mobile phones and larger screens.”

“We’ve also used our media contacts and press releases to publicise our new site. Our next plan is to take a closer look at internet tools such as Adwords to help generate more interest and also produce more content for marketing magazines, blogs and social media.”

“So far, the general reaction to our products and new designs has been amazing and we’re looking to build on that.”

“We can see the way mobile is having an impact on the way people want to engage with suppliers and we’re definitely encouraging customers to design and order from their mobile phones and have set up all of our products to be easy to use on smaller screens.”

“Going forward we’re really looking forward to developing other products with our Taopix platform. We’ll soon add photo books to our range and and plan to create exclusive new gifts for Valentines Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.”

Adds Michael Carey, Taopix Business Development Manager for the region “We’re so proud to be a partner so such a well-established and respected business as Serafi. They have made a great start in, what is for them, a new market and I’m sure that their ‘quality-first’ ethos will be a key factor in their success.”
