PHILIPPINES, APRIL13, 2011 – Sara Lee launched the new Master Oil Control Max Facial Scrub with two TV commercials for the active urban man.

As men’s skin is about 20% to 30% thicker than women, they tend to have more oily skin-related problems than women. Campaigns & Grey Philippines dramatized men’s excessive oily skin via a facial “oil slick” in a serious tone, in contrast to Master’s competitors who employ humor and slice-of-life situations in their advertising.

The spots showcased familiar faces such as Akihiro Sato, the winner from the reality TV series ‘Survivor’,  running, playing capoeira, and playing football; and action matinee idol, Jake Cuenca, who is shown boxing, cycling and playing basketball.

The color black dominates the TVC’s as it is the colour of the product packaging to create brand association and higher product recall.

The spots have been airing since February, running until July.
