Cannes Lions 2020: Revealing a Gender-Equal Lineup of 2020 Jury Presidents, Women Leaders Powerhouse

CANNES, FRANCE – For the first time in Cannes Lions history, 53% or 15 out of the 28 jury presidents serving this year are women. The lineup has always been dominated by men up until last year when only 33% of the jury heads were women.

The powerhouse women leaders joining this year are the following:

Gender equality in the ad industry has always been a hot topic with Cindy Gallop, advocate for women and former chair of BBH (now founder of MakeLoveNotPorn) being at the forefront. Gallop, among others, has been calling out advertising agencies for being in favor of men in terms of the pay gap and leadership positions.
