NEW YORK — The New School’s Open Campus announced today the launch of a new podcast in partnership with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and produced in partnership with Somethin’ Else. The podcast, a Festival first, is called “Asking Out Loud” and will broadcast once a day live from the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from June 19-23. Speakers will include thought leaders from Airbnb, A+E Networks, Perrier-Jouet, and The New School engaging in discussions about ethical marketing, collaboration, innovation, and more.
“At The New School, we believe that sometimes the best answer is actually a question,” said Melissa Rancourt, podcast moderator and academic director of the Global Executive Program in Strategic Design and Management at The New School. “Creativity is inspired by a willingness to challenge assumptions, relentlessly iterate new solutions, and collaborate across disciplines.”
Open Campus, The New School’s destination for continuing, professional and online education, furthers the spirit of our university’s progressive approach to learning by inviting a vast network of outliers, creative minds, and innovators from all walks of life and around the world to come together through shared passion, vision, and values.
In the Cannes Lions podcast series, academics, industry experts, and visionary creative spirits will unpack questions of creative stagnation, design thinking, ethical marketing and other issues that make creative minds tick. Join us live every day in the Palais, and download the podcast the next day.
