CANNES – The shortslist for Pharma Lions has been relased at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Twenty-two of the 53 shortlisted entries for Pharma Lions went to the United States of America, dominated by FCB Health New York. In Regulated: Healthcare Professional, ‘Garage,’ ‘Kitchen,’ and ‘Living Room’ for brand Boehringer Ingelheim made the cut for the Industry Craft: Art Direction medium. The same three campaigns were shortlisted in the Regulated category for both Industry Craft: Art Direction and Industry Craft: Photography.
The country with the next most shortlisted entries in Pharma Lions was the United Kingdom with 13.
Only four entries from Asia were shortlisted in Pharma Lions with three coming from India in the form of ‘Blink to Speak’ by TBWA\Mumbai. The campaign for brand Asha Ek Hope Foundation was shortlisted in Non-regulated: Direct to Consumer, Non-regulated: Direct to Patient, and Non-regulated categories.
The only other shortlisted entry from Asia was McCann Health Shanghai out of China with ‘A warning from the future’ for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
