Publicis JimenezBasic beefs up its creative house

MANILA, JULY 19, 2013 – Publicis JimenezBasic expands its roster of creative talent as it welcomes nine new faces, coming from various agencies and carrying multiple local and international awards, into the ranks of the creative team.

Alnair Langkay joins as the newest creative director. Prior to PJB, he worked as creative head of Redworks Manila and creative director for Ogilvy & Mather Philippines. His bona fide wins include various local and international awards including Cannes, the Clio Awards and the London International Awards.

PJB welcomed four new associate creative directors: Lucas Luchico, Raymund Sison, Louie Aquino and Rap Platon.

Luchico joined PJB after his one-year stint in Publicis Manila. He worked with J. Romero before becoming head of art at Euro RSCG. Among the products he worked with are Cobra Energy Drink, Beer na Beer, Colt 45, Buscopan, Pharmaton and Dulcolax.

Sison previously worked from BBDO Guerrero and Campaigns & Grey. He had brought home medals from Cannes, Clio, London International, Spikes Asia, Busan Ad Stars, Kidlat, Araw, Tambuli and Boomerang. Aside from his creative works, he also plays now for PJB football team.

Aquino served  over six years as the senior art director for Harrison Communications. He is also an effective copywriter.

Platon, who joined PJB early this year, had a long stint with Gallardo & Associates, having experiences with numerous brands in medicine, personal care, fast food and financial institutions.

Three new senior copywriters enlisted in PJB creative team – Nikki Paqueo, Nino Gupana and Chino Jose.

Paqueo worked with McCann, Lowe and DDB. Coca Cola, Nestle, Unilab and Unilever are among the brands she worked with.

On the other hand, Gupana worked with Leo Burnett Manila and had bagged from Kidlat and Araw Awards along with several wins from New York Festival, Spikes Asia, Busan Advertising Festival and Australia Awards.

Jose previously worked with various agencies like DentsuINDIO, Brandworks, Espresso Design, Workshop One and most recently, Beginnings Communications before finally making his way to PJB. He has worked on big brands such as Mitsubishi, Honda, DMCI Homes, National Bookstore and Cossack Vodka.

Jace Burayag, the most recent addition to PJB’s creative team, joined as copywriter. He came from BBDO Guerrero prior to a short stint as a copywriter for Impact BBDO Proximity in Dubai where he worked on digital campaigns for Mercedes-Benz and 7-Up.
