USA – A few days after the US Supreme Court ruled to legalize same-sex marriage in all its 50 states, a video advertisement entitled “Not Alone” from a a Catholic Group came out to express their disagreement.
Shot in black and white, the way it was framed is reminiscent of the coming out videos on Youtube which the video-uploading platform is particularly proud of.
The 2:38 long video is a collection of Catholics talking about how they love their friends and colleagues who are members of the LGBT community but uphold their belief that marriage is meant to be between a man and woman. In the tail end of the video, they encouraged others who share the same sentiment to not be afraid to “speak truth with love”.
