LONDON – CHI&Partners Chief Executive Sarah Golding has this week appointed two new Joint Managing Directors to support her in the day-to-day running of the agency, promoting former Head of Account Management Gary Simmons and Joint Head of Planning Sarah Clark to the newly created roles.
Simmons joined CHI&Partners from Leo Burnett in 2009 as a business director, and has run key accounts for the agency including Argos, Lexus, Kraft Heinz and British Gas. He was promoted to Head of Account Management in 2015.
Clark joined CHI&Partners from TBWA in 2002, and during her time at the agency has led the strategic agenda for key accounts including British Gas, Argos, Carphone Warehouse, Anchor Butter and The Prince’s Trust.
Sarah Golding, Chief Executive of CHI&Partners, said: “We are delighted to promote Gary and Sarah to Joint MDs – not only do they lead from the front as a brilliant account man and planner respectively, but they genuinely care about the work and the people here at CHI. They absolutely sum up the culture of this agency.”
CHI&Partners has also promoted former Business Director Charmaine Murray to replace Simmons as Head of Account Management. Murray joined CHI&Partners in 2010 as an Account Director, going on to play an integral role in driving the success of accounts including Argos and TalkTalk. After her promotion to Business Director in 2016, she has continued to grow the RBS business, led the award-winning Prince’s Trust account and helped win the global Godiva business.
Rebecca Munds, formerly Joint Head of Planning alongside Clark, will assume sole responsibility for the planning department – reporting directly into Chief Strategy Officer Neil Goodlad. Munds has been with CHI&Partners since 2003, and has since worked across accounts including Argos, British Gas, Britvic, TalkTalk, RBS, Carphone Warehouse, Toyota and Lexus – including CHI&Partners’ multi-award-winning Lexus Hoverboard Project.
