ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA – APRIL 11, 2011 – Following the leadership changes in the region, Wunderman China is next in line for a shift.
With immediate effect, Clement Yip has been promoted to the newly created role of managing director of Wunderman China.
Currently managing director of AGENDA Shanghai, Clement Yip will extend his responsibilities to supervise all Wunderman and AGENDA offices across China.
As an integral part of Wunderman’s strategy to enhance its services to global accounts and grow local businesses, it is bringing together its offices across China under one single management.
Under the new organization, each agency will operate independently as per their specialty and existing management teams will now report to Yip.
Wunderman Asia-Pacific President Stephane Faggianelli said, “Clement Yip has an excellent track record of building AGENDA Shanghai. He will provide strong leadership across our offices in China, with focus on expanding our digital capabilities and new business.”
Yip will remain based in Shanghai and will report to Faggianelli and chief operating officer Steve Hsia.
“Our four agencies in China have achieved an outstanding performance to date. I feel very fortunate to have such a talented team and we are now accelerating our plans to expand our footprint to the next level; including new capabilities, additional offices, acquisitions and partnerships,” said Yip.
