SINGAPORE — Based on the data of Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, over 1.3 million foreign workers make up the country’s labor force. But usually, these diligent workers, who are away from their families and their homelands, are not given the appreciation that they deserve.
Earlier this March, Coca-Cola Singapore and the Singapore Kindness Movement thought of giving a group of construction workers a different break by bringing them “Happiness from the Skies”.
Boxes of Coca-Cola cans were delivered to a construction site in Singapore using drones. Tied to the refreshing cans of Coke are photos of Singaporeans holding personally handwritten messages of thanks for all their hard work.
The expression on these workers’ faces as they see and read the messages attached to the cans of Coke are truly priceless.
