CANNES – Add another luminary to the list of exceptional speakers at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Sir Ken Robinson will be speaking at “Beyond Brand Purpose: Moving from Awareness to Activism” on June 22, Wednesday, at 1:45pm as part of the segment on Lions Innovation.
Sir Ken Robinson is an international authority on creativity and innovation in education and business. He works with governments and education systems in Europe, Asia, and the US, international agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and some of the world’s leading cultural organizations.
Called one of the world’s elite thinkers by Fast Company Magazine, he has received numerous awards for his groundbreaking work in education and social change. He has written two New York Times best sellers and his book, The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything, has been translated into 23 languages. A 10th anniversary edition of his classic work on creativity, Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative, was published in 2011.
His latest book, Creative Schools: Revolutionising Education From The Ground Up, was published by Penguin in June 2015. His ideas around education and social change are helping to build a new blueprint for a modern society with creativity at its core.
The 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity will be held from June 18-25 in Cannes, France.
