DDB and OMD get most number of accounts won, top R3 Worldwide’s APAC rankings

DDB was still top creative agency in the Asia-Pacific region in independent marketing consultancy R3 Worldwide’s rankings with three wins in December 2017. In the media agency rankings, OMD won the most number of accounts last month with a count of three.

DDB won Grovac and the Royal Carribean Cruises Project in China as well as the KB Insurance account in Korea. Meanwhile, Publicis and Saatchi & Saatchi stood neck and neck with two account wins each. Publicis won two sizeable accounts — KFC in Thailand and a project with Twitter in India. On the other hand, Saatchi & Saatchi won the global account for Expedia and Sands in China. BBDO, MullenLowe Group, and Dentsu rounded out the rankings with one account win each.

For the month of December, OMD garnered three new accounts namely, dtac and Beiersdorf in Thailand and Nissan in Australia. Mindshare had the second most number of account wins. The agency won L’Oreal and Wyeth (all media buying and planning and digital buying) in China.
