DDB Group Shanghai increase bench strength for PepsiCo business

SHANGHAI – DDB Group Shanghai is further strengthening its talents for PepsiCo, with a series of recent hires. The agency was appointed as the lead creative agency for PepsiCo after a competitive pitch last October and now manages the creative business for Pepsi-Cola, Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker.

Increasing the overall creative bench-strength, DDB hired Li Zheng, as Group Creative Director. He is a well-awarded creative veteran with almost two decades of experience in the industry and formerly from Havas Shanghai as Creative Partner. He will work alongside Chief Creative Officer, Tim Cheng, to deliver game changing work for PepsiCo.

DDB also added a full team of client service talents and most recently, with the addition of Yuwei Chang, who joins DDB as Senior Account Director.  She is an accomplished marketing professional having worked in a top agency in Beijing managing a global account. Her diverse experience also included working on start-up environments, establishing office in the US as well as client role at L’Oreal Taiwan.

As digital is an integral part of PepsiCo’s creative offerings, Tribal Worldwide Shanghai also strengthening its team to support numerous high-end innovations. One of the latest hire is Charles Yuen, who joined as Project Director, to lead the project delivery for PepsiCo and all digital requirements. He brings over with him 15 years of digital experience, coupled with animation experience hitting over two decades.
