SINGAPORE – There are some things that are difficult to say out loud, but when doing so with food–especially food wrapped in artwork–it becomes much easier.
Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore makes this idea come to life in ‘Say It With a Sub’, a new customer appreciation campaign for Subway Singapore.
Running from October to November, the campaign will enable Subway fans to give away free subs, receive special offer coupons, and participate in a charity auction in support of youth and the arts.
Also, for one day in October (the date is yet undisclosed), Subway customers will receive a free second sub and a takeaway bag from a selection of six designs by internationally renowned graphic designers, including Dan Matutina and JP Cuison from the Philippines, Tom Whalen from the USA, Wanton Doodle from Singapore, and So Youn Lee from Korea. The bags are designed with special messages and can be used by customers to give away their free sub.
The date of the special day will be released on Subway Singapore’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SubwaySingapore), and featured in online advertisements and in-store signage.
Subway Singapore also opened a charity auction on October 3 where all proceeds will go to The Business Times Budding Artist Fund (BT BAF), which supports The Little Arts Academy’s arts training programmes for children and youth from financially-disadvantaged backgrounds. This is part of Subway Singapore’s commitment to youth and arts in Singapore.
The ‘Say It With a Sub’ charity auction is live on eBay Singapore, and will close on 17 October. Up for grabs to the highest bidders are six artworks from the ‘Say It With a Sub’ featured artists, as well as contributions by influential Singaporeans working with youth and the arts.
