Microsoft selects Effective Measure for data and analytic insights

SINGAPORE – September 27, 2013 – Effective Measure, emerging markets provider of media planning and audience profiling solutions, has secured a regional deal with Microsoft to deliver powerful online measurement data analytics to MSN sites across Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. 
 
"The agreement will give the established portal a deeper dimension of profiling, data mining and measurement to understand the online readership profiles, audience spending habits, media consumption and behavioral patterns of their digital community across its portfolio of online news, entertainment and lifestyle sites," Effective Measure said in a press release. 
 
Ken Chang, Commercial Director for Asia Pacific at Microsoft Advertising, said this was the second year MSN has partnered with Effective Measure to leverage their Campaign Measurement and Campaign Impact reports. "Not only do the reports help us optimize markets and audiences, they also deliver deep insights to advertisers across our platform to ensure the effectiveness of their campaign,” said Chang,  
 
Effective Measure’s Campaign Impact and Campaign Measurement solutions have been deployed across the Microsoft’s MSN Network, which includes Singapore’s www.xinmsn.com a joint partnership between Microsoft and MediaCorp, Indonesia’s www.plasamsn.com, Malaysian portal www.malaysia.msn.com and Thailand’s www.th.msn.com. 
 
Using the Effective Measure dashboard and its sophisticated targeting and audience profiling capabilities, Microsoft views its digital assets and audience with a clear view of every section on every site. This enables the digital content team to view and understand the different demographics and traffic patterns that are unique to each section. 
 
Effective Measure has been rapidly expanding through the Asian markets, recently securing significant deals with digital publishers including the Time of India Group in India, New IT Solutions in Singapore and the Charlton Group.
