LONDON – David Blair has been promoted to Global CEO of branding and retail consultancy FITCH. Blair is currently regional CEO for EMEIA (Europe, the Middle East and India). His appointment will take effect from 3rd April, when he will take over responsibility for the business from Simon Bolton, CEO of Group XP, the brand experience collective. FITCH is one of Group XP’s founding agencies, with 15 studios in nine countries.

Blair began his career at FITCH in 2005, joining as Global Development Director based out of London. He relocated to India in 2007 for five years to set up FITCH’s operations in South Asia and subsequently returned to London in 2012 to head up Europe & Russia, adding the Middle East to his remit in early 2014. In 2016, he was appointed to his current role of regional CEO for FITCH in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA).

“Having spent almost 12 years at FITCH, originally working for our founder, Rodney Fitch, and building strong operations in India and London, David is uniquely qualified to lead our network. I know he will do this with distinction and passion,” said Simon Bolton, CEO of Group XP.

“It is a huge honour to be taking on this role at FITCH, a company I’ve already had so many memorable experiences with. FITCH has always been fantastic at evolving to meet the needs of the times and now is no exception. So I am extremely excited about the future and what we will achieve as a business together,” commented Blair.
