A first for adobo magazine, our deputy multimedia editor, Marj Casal, and multimedia artist, Ian Handog, flew to France along with our president and editor-in-chief, Angel Guerrero, to cover the prestigious Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
For years, we have only been remotely covering from our office in Manila, adjusting our clocks and sleeping time. To mark this historic milestone, we documented this journey using a technology that’s also a first for adobo. Using a Ricoh Tetah 360 camera hurriedly purchased only a day before our flight, we take you to the sunny town of Cannes and to the biggest gathering of creativity through the eyes of two humbled journalists seeing the beach, the red carpet, Anderson Cooper, Anthony Bourdain and David Droga for the first time.
