FWD Philippines named as one of Asia’s Best Employer Brands for 2016

SINGAPORE – On the recent 7th Edition of the Asia’s Best Employer ceremony, hosted by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress, and Stars of the Industry Group, endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses, FWD Life Philippines was awarded with another distinct award alongside their growing list of achievements after receiving the honor as one of Asia’s Best Employer Brands.

FWD Life Insurance Corporation is the first life insurance company licensed by the Insurance Commission of the Philippines under the new Insurance Code. FWD launched its commercial operations in September 2014. After its first full year of operations in 2015, FWD Life now ranks #13 in terms of total premium income according to the Insurance Commission’s end -2015 report.

FWD Group spans Hong Kong & Macau, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, offering life and medical insurance, general insurance, and employee benefits across a number of its markets. Established in Asia in 2013, FWD is the insurance business arm of investment group, Pacific Century Group.

Parungo also served as a panelist alongside top-ranking executives from various industries across the region, where they shared ideas and best practices on employer branding.

The award further recognizes FWD’s position as the fastest-growing life insurance company in the Philippines, as well as the two honors it won recently in this year’s Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) Insurance Asia Awards also held in Singapore in July. Two of the company’s innovative marketing campaigns, “Life Is” and “Live to Move,” were named “Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year” and “marketing Initiative of the Year,” respectively.
