KUALA LUMPUR – Independent Public Relations network GO Communications has formed a partnership with SKPR Asia in Indonesia.
SKPR Asia is the first Indonesian PR consultancy from East Java to open an office in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta in 2010.
The GO Group partnership offices in Asia now include Indonesia, China, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, India and Sri Lanka.
SKPR Asia has clients in real estate, banking, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), consumer and retail industries.
SKPR Asia CEO Syandra Kwan said, “The partnership with the GO Group will give us extensive knowledge of the Asian business environment and potential to grow our business in Indonesia.”
She said, “We now have the opportunity to tap into the GO Group’s client base, expertise and creativity”.
“In addition, Malaysian companies are starting to establish offices in Jakarta and tourists from Malaysia are one of the highest from Asian countries.”
The GO Group Chairman, Michael de Kretser said, “The GO Group’s blueprint strategy in building Asia’s largest independent PR network is different from other multinational agencies.” He said, “We select our partners in each country that have the same DNA, leadership qualities with the same vision and synergy and understand the peculiar dynamics of each country.”

Indonesia is a critical partner for the GO Group which has the largest economy in South East Asia and is a member of the G-20 major economies. The Indonesian GDP is growing by over 6% and is the world’s 10th largest.
Tourism contributes over USD10 Billion annually and ASEAN has the top three visitors to Indonesia.
