AUSTRALIA – Through a global realignment of their agency roster, Volvo Car Australia has appointed Grey Sydney. Grey takes over from Arnold Furnace as the agency of record for brand and tactical communications.
“Arnold Furnace have been great partners in our business, helping to drive the success of our brand through this very exciting time. It’s unfortunate to be parting ways but I’m equally excited about the next chapter with Grey. They have shown a fantastic initial understanding of our brand and we’re looking forward to working closely with them to communicate our brand offering with strategic and creative thinking.” Oliver Peagam, Marketing and Communications Director of Volvo Car Australia, said.
Paul Worboys, Chief Operating Officer of Grey Group Australia, said, “We are extremely proud to be able to help take Volvo to the next level. The quality and technical innovation of their vehicles are market leading and with new, groundbreaking models being released next year, there’s no better time to be partnered with them. It’s exciting to be aligned with such an innovative company.”
Anthony Gregorio, CEO Arnold Furnace/Havas Worldwide Australia Group said, “It’s part of life in this business that sometimes you win from international alignments and sometimes you lose. We have enjoyed working with the team at Volvo and been proud of the campaigns we have produced for them. We wish them and Grey the best of luck for the future.”
In Melbourne, the Grey office has also landed new business with the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) and the Emerson Group both calling on them for new projects that will launch in the coming months.
Grey, Melbourne recently retained the Victorian WorkCover Authority business, securing a place on the hotly contested roster and won two Cannes Lions including Gold at the 2014 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
