Havas promotes Levent Guenes to CEO SEA of Havas Creative Group

SINGAPORE – Havas Worldwide has announced on Friday the promotion of Havas Creative Group COO Levent Guenes to CEO Southeast Asia. He will be leading the group’s agencies across 9 markets.

According to the agency, “the promotion from COO to CEO comes at a strategic time as Havas consolidates its position and continues to promote a new agency vision with a fully integrated and collaborative approach across the markets, sharing resources locally and regionally, while overcoming P&L limitations and delivering consistently high quality services for all its clients.”

“This is an exciting announcement for Havas as we continue to expand our footprint and strengthen our teams and services in the region. Levent has and will continue to lend strategic value to the business with his hands-on management style,” commented Juan Rocamora, Chairman of Havas Worldwide Asia Pacific.

Levent is a Havas veteran, having been with the group for a total of 14 years. He started doing financial work in Germany which then turned into operation responsibilities at Havas’ regional headquarters in Hong Kong and Japan. Through the years, Levent has evovled into a multi-asset management leader and more recently, driving business growth for Southeast Asia along with managing directors and his regional partners Sunny Hermano, Stefano Augello, and Dr. VJ Yamat.
