Who would have thought that Frank, a civil servant by day could transform so drastically to an elaborately dressed cosplayer by night?
So imagine what we thought IKEA could do to transform his bedroom from its rather haphazard state into one of delight?
BBH Asia Pacific created The IKEA Bedroom Stories campaign – the perfect opportunity for IKEA to walk the talk – and showcase how IKEA can simply “Make space better”.
BBH made two films featuring bedroom makeovers for two individuals facing unique space challenges.
“Our first film features 30-yr old Frank, whose passion for cosplay has not only seen him sweeping up awards at world championship levels; it’s also left him with a very cluttered bedroom. He desperately needed help to manage his space better,” BBH said in a press release.
The second film features Michele, a mom trying to squeeze her beloved hubby and son into one bedroom in a four room flat. With hope of another bun in the oven, the challenge for IKEA was to see how the family could share the same space, yet enjoy a little privacy.
“Now that’s making space better!” the agency said.
