Intelligence: BBH and Wavemaker top R3’s May 2020 Business Report for creative and media agency

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — R3 Worldwide has released the Top 10 Creative and Media agencies in the Philippines based on new business wins in May 2020. The report offers insight on the current competitive landscape and top accounts that are driving businesses.

Creative Agencies

BBH Singapore remains on the top spot for its partnership with Philippine fast food chain Jollibee. MullenLowe, BBDO, and VMLY&R likewise maintain their positions from Feb 2020, for their partnerships with Department of Tourism, Frabelle, and Intel, respectively.

MullenLowe holds on to three more spots for their partnerships with PICC, Shakey’s, and Restylane. BBDO and DDB are at 9th and 10th spot, for their projects with DTI and Pag-IBIG Fund. Wunderman Thompson is the only newcomer on the list, having sealed a partnership with HSBC in March.

Media Agencies

Crashing the party is Wavemaker at the top spot, for its partnership with BDO secured in May. PHD comes in with three spots, for Diageo, Dole, and Stada. OMD comes in with two, for partnerships with Unionbank and Nature C Berries. Universal McCann also has two spots, for partnerships with Emirates Airlines and Energizer. Likewise, Initiative comes in with two spots, for Evyap and Frabelle-Johnsonville.
